Details: Our '55 was built to be a cross-country,
trailer haulin', grocery getter, used for daily transportation. Its
been channeled, sectioned, slammed and tubbed, sitting on a full size
G M chassis with stock suspension and steering the way G M designed
it to ride and handle. The engine was moved back 8 " for better
traction and balance. All design, cutting, welding, body work,
painting, upholstery, electrical, mechanical, etc, etc was done by
the owners in their garage. Thank goodness for band aids and aspirin

We've been involved in the club since about ' 85
and been building street rods for the last 45 years. We currently
have a ' 53 Ford pickup daily driver, a '51 Studebaker bullet nose
Starliner coupe, a '48 Chevy pickup with 6 point roll cage set up for
a big block on nitrous, and a '32 Chevy 2 door sedan, all under
construction. Since street rodding is known to be a form of mental
